Barbara E. Machin has more than twenty years experience as a trial and appellate attorney handling a variety of cases in Employment Law, Education Law, Public Contract Law, Business, Insurance Defense and Personal Injury, including Medical Malpractice.

Prior to joining Bunda Stutz & DeWitt PLL, she served as General Counsel for the University of Toledo from 1993 to 2000.  She continues to handle employment matters for the University as a special assistant attorney general.

Ms. Machin is admitted to practice in the state courts of Ohio, as well as the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Machin serves on the Toledo Bar Association’s Federal Courts and Labor and Employment Law committees. She is an active participant in employment-related training seminars focusing on compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination and harassment law. She is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Toledo and Ohio Women’s Bar Associations.
