Theresa DeWitt is one of the founding partners of the firm and has over 25 years experience defending product liability and managing mass tort litigation in federal and state courts.
She has established relationships with both defense and plaintiffs’ firms around the country to better serve her clients in successfully resolving litigation matters on a national basis and has personally negotiated tens of thousands of individual cases.
Ms. DeWitt is admitted to practice in the Ohio State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. DeWitt is a member of the Ohio State and Toledo Bar Associations and is a past district trustee for the Ohio Women’s Bar Association. She has served for over a decade on the board of Paraclete, which serves children and youth caught up in the criminal justice system.
Ms. DeWitt received her Bachelor of General Studies, with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1975 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1983.
